Three stories. Three paths. One point of convergence.
Worlds, generations, and peoples, long separated, are drawing together.
The Resurgence Chronicles is a science-fiction series about survival, exploration, rebuilding, and what people choose to carry forward when the world we know is gone.
The first three books in the series follow those separate paths through The Expedition, The Holographic Girl, and The Trade.
The Expedition
Book One of The Resurgence Chronicles.
Generations after humanity was battered by catastrophic natural disasters, Juanito has grown up inside an isolated compound in the Amazon, where his people have survived by making do with what remains. But survival is getting harder.
When Frank Pyle leads an expedition through an Amazon that has reclaimed much of the old world, toward the long-abandoned Brazilian Elevator Base in search of equipment and resources, Juanito stows away in one of the trucks. What begins as an unwanted complication gradually becomes something more as Juanito makes a place for himself among the expedition. And what they find along the way suggests that not everything left behind by the old world is as dead—or as forgotten—as they believed.
The Holographic Girl
Book Two of The Resurgence Chronicles.
Molly has grown up in space, where Earth is something seen from a distance rather than lived on.
For years, Molly has considered herself part of her father’s work developing robotic explorers for Earth. With the AR-5, that work finally gives her a way to experience a world she has never known firsthand. But the mission may reveal more than anyone expected about what has survived on Earth—and what may still be waiting there.
The Trade
Book Three of The Resurgence Chronicles.
Bright Feather has always been curious about the Mounds in the taboo clearing. Her people have avoided them for generations. The clearing, the Mounds themselves, and anything taken from them are forbidden, bound to old stories of the beings remembered as the Ancient Masters—or, in darker tellings, the Ancient Evil Ones. To enter is more than foolish. It can mark a Kahreen as tainted.
Bright Feather has never been good at leaving questions unanswered. And the more she wonders about the Mounds, the harder it becomes to accept the old stories as reason enough to stay away. What could be so terrible that, generations later, her people still fear even going near them?
